Do you know how to find Pinterest Group Boards? Pinterest Group Boards are a great way to increase your engagement (such as followers and monthly viewers). Sometimes it is hard to find Pinterest Group Boards so keep on reading if you want to learn how to find Pinterest Group Boards. (Updated November 2, 2018)
What are Group Boards?
Pinterest allows users to organize images into personal collections known as boards. A group board is similar to a regular Pinterest Board. The only difference is that the creator can invite other people (known as collaborators) to Pin to the board. This allows your pin to be seen by the board owner and their followers as well as other collaborators and their followers. Group boards usually have rules that everyone needs to follow.
What are Group Boards Rules?
Check out the description of the group board to find the rules. The creator of the board usually list the rules there as well as how to join the board. Make sure you follow the rules otherwise you will get booted out (usually without warning)!
Which Group Boards Should You Join?
Join Group boards that are related to your Niche. I don’t suggest joining every group board that you come across, only join boards that will help you to grow. Check to see if the the board is active and make sure the topic fits with your niche.
How to tell if a Group Board is Active?
1 – Look for the following: how many pins does the board have, when was the last Pin saved, how many contributors does the board have, etc.
2 – If you have Tailwindapp, once you join the Group Board, you can use Tailwindapp Reporting (Board Insights) to see how well the Board is performing. If you don’t have Tailwindapp, I HIGHLY suggest that you look into. Tailwind has allowed me to put my online business on Autopilot.
How To Find Group Boards –
First of, I have several Group boards open for new contributors! I keep my rules simple for all my group boards: Pin for Pin, no limit, and No spamming or you will be removed. In order to join the board, you must first follow me AND the board and then send me a message through Pinterest. Please send me the message via Pinterest so I can easily add you.
As you can see from this screenshot, I have 5.6M monthly viewers and over 315.K monthly engaged!

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR MORE GROUP BOARDS TO JOIN?
I have an easy trick to help you find worthy group boards to join.
First, find an influencer in your niche that has a high presence on Pinterest. They would normally have a large following and a large monthly viewer amount.
Now go to to their profile and look at their boards. See if they are part of any group boards that fall under your niche. Check out the board and see how many followers there are, how many pins, and how many contributors. If the board looks like a fit for you, read the description to the group board and contact the creator for invite.
You can find several group boards through this method and send your requests off for an invite. I suggest doing this a few times throughout DIFFERENT days. Pinterest HATES spammers. So if you look like a spammer, they can put a block on your account. So if you do this method a few times a day over several days, you should be fine. If you do it too much in one day, you’ll look like a spammer to Pinterest. No one wants to be in Pinterest Jail.
