If you think Pinterest Groups boards are dead, you are wrong.
Pinterest group boards are very much alive, you just need to join the right group boards so they can drive traffic to your website.
So stop listening to others who claim Pinterest Group Boards. There are still many very active and highly engaged Pinterest Group Boards. I use Pinterest Group boards and I’m getting over 6.3 Million monthly viewers!
But finding the right Pinterest Group boards can be tricky. So if you don’t know how to find Pinterest Group boards, then this post is for you. I will teach you an easy way on how to find Pinterest group boards.
Whether you are a new blogger or if you have been blogging for years, you should be using Pinterest to grow your blog traffic.
Pinterest is a great resource that can help to get your content seen by millions of people every month.
You just need to create high quality pins and focus on Fresh Pins.
You can Pin your Pins to your own boards and to Group Boards to grow your blog traffic quickly.
What are PINTEREST Group Boards?
Pinterest Group Boards are a great way to increase traffic to your website.
Pinterest allows users to organize images into personal collections known as boards. With a personal Pinterest Board, you are the only one who can add content to the board.
A group board is similar to a regular Pinterest Board. The only difference is that the Group Board Owner can invite other people (known as collaborators) to Pin to the board.
When you pin a pin to a group a board, this allows the pin to be seen by the board owner, their followers as well as the other collaborators and their followers.
HOW TO KNOW IF A PINTEREST GROUP BOARD IS HIGHLY ENGAGED
You only want to join active and highly engaged Pinterest Group Boards that have quality pins.
If the board has Spammy pins, the board will not help you.
A great way to tell if the board is a high quality Pinterest Board is by using Tailwind.
Tailwind has a section call “Board Insights“. Here you can find some useful information and stats on each Board (including Group Boards).
So you can see how the boards are performing.
Tailwind has allowed me to put my online business on Autopilot so I can focus on other important aspects of my business.
If you haven’t used Tailwind, here’s a free month to Tailwind so you can check it out to see how useful it can be for your online business.
WHAT TYPE OF PINTEREST Group Boards to Join?
Join Group boards that are related to your Niche.
Don’t join every group board that you come across, only join boards that will help you to grow your content.
So find Group Boards related to your niche, have high quality pins, AND ones that do not look spammy.
Once you are accepted to the Group Board, you can check Tailwind to see if the Pinterest Group Board performs well. If the Group Board is not performing well, you can leave the group.
You may also find group boards that have a “general topic” which means any topic can pin to the Group Board. Only pin to those boards if they perform well.
What are PINTEREST Group Boards Rules?
All highly engaged Pinterst Group Boards, should have rules.
You can find a Pinterest GRoup Boards rules in the description of the boards.
The rules will usually tell you how to join the board, what you can pin, and how often you can pin.
Make sure you follow the rules otherwise you will get booted out (usually without warning)!

HOW TO FIND PINTEREST GROUP BOARDS TO JOIN
I have an easy trick to help you find worthy Pinterest Group Boards to join.
First, find an influencer in your niche that has a high presence on Pinterest. They would normally have a large following and a large monthly viewer amount.
Now go to their profile and look at their boards. Look to see which Pinterest Group Boards they are part of.
Check out the board to see if it looks like a high quality group. If the board looks like a fit, read the description to the group board and contact the group board owner for an invite.
You can find several group boards through this method and send your requests off for an invite.
I suggest doing this a few times throughout DIFFERENT days because Pinterest HATES spammers.
If you do this method a few times a day over several days, you should be fine. If you do it too much in one day, you’ll look like a spammer to Pinterest. No one wants to be in Pinterest Jail.

I literally searched “holiday group board” clicked on boards, and yours came up first. Now, I’m going to be honest, I’ve tried this method in the past and my message to the board owner was ignored. So, I had no expectations at all. I’ve tried and failed to find some decent group boards through followers and such for quite awhile now. Anyway, thank you! Thought I’d share.
Kelly says
Oh I’m sorry this didn’t work for you. It worked for me and others who I asked to test it. Maybe it depends on the niche. What niche are you in? Do any of my group boards look appealing to you?
